Every year local Scouts, Sea Scouts, Cubs, Beavers etc.assemble outside the War Memorial on the seafront and march along to the Spa Pavilion Theatre where they disappear inside for an hour and I have no idea what goes on!
My young brother marched in this parade with the Air Cadets back in the '70's. My boys and their cousin marched with the cubs and scouts in the '80's. Eldest grandson marched with his cub group. Now Sam is marching with the Beavers, who are the youngest group. I still have absolutely no idea what goes on inside the Spa Pavilion.
