It's been a busy week of pictures for me. Rain is forecast for Sat. and Sun. so with the temps rising into the eighty's today why not go to the zoo. There is a small zoo with some large animals about 30 minutes from the house. Although by the picture I chose I could be in my neighbors yard. No worries I purchased a yearly membership and have 80% of my album to complete. The tulip trees are also in full bloom and losing their flower petals. Not too bad for my first attempt and it may be my last if the weatherman is correct and the storms and colder weather arrive in a couple hours.
Beautiful composition and focus. I love tulip trees. In Chattanooga we had the Bradford pears in bloom about three weeks ago but most of them are all leafed out now. Everything is blooming way earlier than last year.I'm afraid Summer is going to be here a month early.
What a beautiful photo of this tulip, Leslie. It is just perfect. We are supposed to have rain all weekend also. I am envious as we have not seen 80 degrees for a long time. I agree, you should get flower photos as they are having a difficult time here with all of our weather changes. All it takes is some wind and rain and the flowers are ruined.
