Met my sister in law Carol in Old Town Frederick this afternoon to see what kind of picture I could come up with. Tried my hand at some street shots. This is actually a mural on the side of one of the building and that window sure looks real but it's not. As I set to take my shoot from across the street these two girls start walking into the picture so I wait till they are under it before I push the button. I'm so glad they walked into my shot and love that the street sign happens to be on walk. Wish I would have had the nerve to ask the four guys taking a smoke break outside the tattoo parlor if I could take their picture. They were each a piece of art.
@kandkids almost did. Walked around the block to give it a try . Camera hanging around my neck, finger on button, darn smoke break over they must be back inside....
Brilliant shot. I like how you caught them framed between the tree and the street post. The painting of the old man is just the perfect touch of whimsy. FAVed!
fabulous mural you got there. i thought it was real. today, i almost asked a guy if i could take his photo. i chickened out, what do you know. i'm so prepared. i even have 'thank you' cards printed with my 365 address. no dice. chicken, chicken, chicken. that's me. and your photo is my fav!
This is so fabulous! Love the mural - thought the window and the man were real - didn't notice his angel wings until I viewed it large. Perfect composition and the timing with the crossing light is great!
great work leslie ;)
