Treating The Birdies

Well, the storm is over and no damage to the house. Looks like New York and New Jersey got the worst of it. The winds were gone this morning but a light rain has been coming down all day. Halloween is back out in the yard for tomorrows trick or treaters. I put this pumpkin on the deck and added some peanuts inside it hoping for some squirrels but they never found it. These birds love peanuts and just kept coming back for them.

So glad all is well where you live, Leslie. What a cute shot and a great idea for the squirrels. We were feeding squirrels over the last weekend and the birds were swooping down and getting those that the squirrels missed or before the squirrels could get to them. It is so funny seeing small birds with peanuts in their mouths. FAV
