Home Sweet Home

Spent the morning spring cleaning most of the bird feeders at Black Hill State park. There were a lot of volunteers planting the gardens with flowers around the visitors center. A few came in when they had finished and were talking about taking a pontoon ride on the lake to see the eaglets with the park naturalist. Boy did I pick the right morning to clean the feeders and bonus had bought along the big lens as and after thought. They are way up high so to get this view you have to be pretty far back from the nest. Not too bad considering the light (cloudy) and hand held on a pontoon boat. This pair had 3 babies...
How very special - I'm amazed at your calmness in taking this photo - and on a boat!

Very impressive considering the conditions you took the photo in. Not a bad place for a residence.
