Thank goodness I don't have a problem with heights. I'm sure this is a challenge for many. It's been years since I used this station and I forgot how impressive the view up or down was.
The Woodley Park's escalators in Washington D.C. are the longest escalators in the District, and the third longest in the Metrorail system. They rise 102 feet. Once you get off this one there's another short escalator that brings you to street level.
We are going to DC in October...might have to see this in person! :)
