At the end of each year I make a book of the pictures I have taken . Being lazy or smart there was a company "Resnap" that would grab all my photos from facebook in the date range I picked and place them in a book. I would discard some and arrange them on the pages the way I wanted . So not so lazy. Sadly Resnap is no longer but I found another company "PastBook" and crossed my fingers. Yesterday the tracking said my book had arrived and was on the porch but no package anywhere. The post office delivered my book to the wrong address and I'm so thankful that a Damascus neighbor went out of their way to drive over last night with my package. It sure saved me a big headache of trying to track it down. Love turning the pages and remembering all the moments.
Maybe one day 365 will have a feature to grab all your pictures and make a book.
Great portrait of you and your book. Are you pleased with the new publisher?
I've made a couple of books on Shutterfly as thank you gifts. I was quite pleased and the price was right. When I started to make photo Christmas cards this year, the prices had gone up and I opted for emailed cards.
@eudora I was very pleased but think Resnap's hard cover was slightly nicer if I compare the two. Two pages have a slight imperfection on the photo but I'm probably just nitpicking since the book has close to 300 pages.
That's was a great idea emailing photo cards. I used a groupon from Staples and it made my christmas cards very reasonable. Still a little costly once you add all the stamps.
I do this too, Lesley and I use Bonus Print. I select the photos myself, however. But they may have a more automated system ... I'm not sure. I LOVE receiving that book in the post and can only imagine your distress when yours had gone to the wrong address ... I just got mine the day before yesterday. I'd prepared all the months up to December, so just had to add those at the beginning of January and send to print. Delighted with the result, although why do I always spot a typo when it's too late to do anything about it?!
What a lovely selfie image Lesley, we have similar companies in the UK I have a few books now, it all started when I produced books of my children through the years for their wedding day:)
