Had a wonderful morning yesterday taking a car ride through Red Rock Canyon. Our first time visiting was decades ago. Lots of pull off parking now and FYI just about every pullover has a bathroom. I think the visitor center has gotten a lot bigger and was real nice with lots of information and a detailed map of the ride, trails and climbs. Something new is you need to go on-line and make a reservation for the timed entry to the park. My senior America The Beautiful pass saved us the 20 dollar entry free so only charge was the 2 dollar booking fee. If you're visiting Las Vegas it's only about 30 minutes away and I totally recommend the visit.
