My backyard retreat by lesip

My backyard retreat

Today's One Night Stand is architecture. We had this pavilion built in July to cover a brick patio Bob and I did years ago. Told the company what I had in mind and three drawing later I had what I pictured in my mind.
Very nice, almost Roman Villa look.

what a beauty! you need not go any place else to take photos of. all you need do is have a glass of wine, sit on one of the chairs and scan the woods for photo opps. i might have to challenge you in late spring to take do that for a month! :-D

@summerfield lol 5 of the last 12 shots are from my yard.... That's what winter and finishing my project will do... can I ask you do they have a ons3 challenge every week? can't even remember where I found it. well it's 12:30 am and I better get some sleep.

@lesip - no, the one night stand challenge doesn't always happen. i think only when jerry has time. which is good because it becomes a fresh challenge. you should join the 'get pushed' challenge. a new one is on now. it's a weekly thing, but you can always opt out if you want, just let northy know. also you should look out for the camera settings challenge. that's good, too. when it started last may, i tried to do the first challenges with my point and shoot. when it got to the more complicated part, that's when i decided i can graduate into the dSLR without a problem, and i did. sorta! sleep tight.
