Day late, dollar short... where was this yesterday when I could have used it for my one night stand macro challenge!! After running errands I stopped by the park and they had put some oranges on the trees by the visitor center for the birds. The weather has turned pretty warm for January so I guess the ants came out. Now this would have been a pretty picture if I had caught a bird at the orange but they seemed to prefer the feeders.
Super cool........love the muted hues and vivid orange. FYI: Doing the same thing in Spring will attract Baltimore Orioles, as they LOVE nectar, and then you're likely to get Flickers whose favorite food is ants. Take good care, Les
