I took a couple shots before we left inside and outside the house. This was my favorite . I was warned to make it quick because it was cold and windy. I have plenty of room for improvement. Didn't leave enough room at the bottom of the picture and maybe I should have put my sister in between my husband and hers to separate the blue shirts. I was so focused on making sure everyone fit in the shot. Practice ... Practice ... Practice.
There"s a laser light show in 20 minutes on the boardwalk so maybe it will end up in my extras album. Chow for now...
Great fun. I understand your predicament. No one but a photographer understand that you have to set the shot up and check this and that. Ha Ha. I think it is a wonderful family shot.
This looks like so much fun, Leslie. Love this photo. I set up photos in our backyard with my tripod and timer and never go for the feet, I like closeups and I do not worry about what colors are being worn, just that you can see everyone's face and they are all smiling. I do like the bent knees, adds something to this photo.
