Well first off the hotel and Jefferson Suite were awesome. Dinner was perfect and even though the weather could have been a little better we had an amazing time. This is one of my favorite shots. I climbed the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial to get a shot from the right corner so I could get the Capitol and the Washington Monument in the shot. I walked behind this couple and stopped in my tracks. They turned and I asked if I could get their picture ? They said sure so I set my tripod up real low behind them and took one shot. Yay !! I had taken shots at the bottom of the stairs and the setting still worked. Showed them the pic and got an email so I could send them the shot.
What a sweet candid!! Love that you sent it to them, too. I ended up doing a photoshoot for a girl as a result of this once. My candids turned out awful and I offered her a free shoot. I got some great images that I gave to her and practice so it was a win win!:)
What a lovely shot, so glad to hear you will be emailing it to them. ( I just emailed a shot from Saturday and the guy emailed back saying could I get an 8x10 of that? I'm still shocked)
