Todays shots were crap so back to Mondays Tidal Basin visit. This is from one of the bridges that takes you around the Tidal basin and is lined with these spikes. It's about waist high and the full bloom masses had not arrived yet so I was able to stop and get a shot without being a nuisance. Even though the blossoms had not opened you can still see the pink color lining the basin. Bad weather expected tomorrow with downpours and wind. I sure hope it doesn't ruin the full bloom which is happening any day now.
