Freedom Isn't Free

A visit to the National Mall today to see 50+ WWII airplanes fly over the mall. A big ceremony at the WWII Memorial to honor the veterans before the fly over. It was a once in a lifetime event here and the turn out was HUGE.

this is a wonderful tribute shot, les, made more so by its treatment in black and whie. ceremonies like this are special to me, too, as my parents experienced war as young people back in the old country.
