Tagged along with my girlfriend Arline and her two grandkids to tour the city of Philadelphia. It was a 2 and a half hour drive there and we arrived at 8:30am. We signed up for The Big BUS Company tour which is a hop on hop off tour. We didn't hop off the first trip around the city but noted where we would the 2nd time around. It takes a little over an hour and a half the make the loop of the tour. We choose to hop off and do the US Mint and the Eastern State Penitentiary. The prison was AMAZING to see and photograph. This was my first time visiting Philadelphia and we had a great time.
Fab shot and perfect processing. We always take the Bus Tour and then, like you, decide on what to revisit. It makes sense: you're going to benefit from local knowledge and get a qick overview and orientation too.
Very nice! Great to see this point of view. Almost every image I see of Eastern State (including mine LOL!) was taken at the top of those very stairs, instead of at the bottom. So it's refreshing to see a different point of view, I really like it.
