I passed this Monday and knew I'd be back with my camera. This was once a 748-acre plantation and has stood here since before the civil war. The State Park system now owns it and is slowly restoring the house. Part of it is still farmed and whatever that crop is in the foreground is dying out because we have had so little rain in the last month and a half.
