The sun was bright and the day was HOT ! No shade in the stands so with sweat dripping and being reprimanded for leaving my end seat to get this shot. They were so still I quickly set the camera to bracket 3 shots for an HDR picture and snapped handheld.
@janiskay there are wooden benches set up on both sides but the middle is just grass and they wouldn't let you stand and block that area. I'm not sure why maybe if one of the people is the show get hurt it's really the only way to get them out fast.
HDR really worked well here -- everything is in such clear detail. Must have been interesting to watch as well.
