Thank Goodness They're Not Bees

Took a field trip with a birding group out of Black Hill Park to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuse in Delaware. I wish these snow geese had been closer to us but they were way off in the distance. When they are all in the water it just looked like a sea of white. They took off two or three times during the day for whatever reason and then just all landed right back in the water. There are probably 20,000+ out there and they are an amazing sight to see although in these numbers they can really strip all the vegetation from the area. The bird migration is happening .....
Amazing! They will be here before too long, I know.
