Two hours away from my house is the Conowingo Dam. Wildlife photographers from over over the Unites States travel here for the high season of bald eagles, between November and February. About 100 eagles live here year round and during high season hundreds and hundreds migrate through. The eagles fish from the waters of the dam and the shores are lined at times with wall to wall photographers and fisherman. Usually it's freezing cold but today was a cloud free, very little wind sunny 65 degrees. It was a great day and I even got a couple shots of eagles. LOL
@basqgirl my first visit 2 years ago it was definitely intimidating and surreal. The sound of hundreds of these big boys going off in burst mode at exactly the same time when the eagle dives for a fish is awesome.
