What A Redheaded Beauty

Went to fill the feeders at the park today and came across this pleaded woodpecker while driving around the park. The funny thing is my next door neighbor posted a cellphone shot on her Facebook page this morning of one that was in her front yard tree and had linked it to my page hoping at some point I could get a close up pic. Well, it didn't take long.
That red is gorgeous! Great shot.

lovely shot. We very rarely see these in our woods. I have yet to catch one this clear and focused on my camera when I do see them. I will keep trying.
