The Puddle by lesip

The Puddle

Well there was a question this year about Full Bloom happening around the Tidal Basin because of the exceptionally warm weather we had before the week of freezing weather. The park service estimates that 50% of the blossoms were lost this year. It was still very pretty and if you had never been you wouldn't even have realized the loss.

Because of yesterdays rain there were some big puddles covering a few places around the basin on the sidewalk so I crouched down and waited. Got lucky and Park Ranger Jessica walked right beside it. We had just had a nice conversation with her about 5 minutes before.
Such an unusual capture which you made the most of.........fav

A very unique choice of composition and subject. I rather like the any usual use of the cherry blossoms. Fabulous reflections.
