❤️❤️ I noticed the chrysalis had turned darker this morning so thought ok tomorrow's the day. Had planned to get a picture but thought I would have plenty of time ( you snooze you lose) I was just heading out to the grocery store but first took a close look at my chrysalis and noticed a slight crack in his casing. I yelled up to Bob that I believed he was emerging and grabbed the camera. Sure enough things happened so quickly that he was out before I could get the camera exposure set. We were so lucky to have been able to watch him emerge as a butterfly. I believe it took him less than half a minute. Full grown in a matter of minutes. ❤️❤️ He will now take his own road trip tomorrow hopefully making it to Mexico.
