Elsa Was Here

I was meeting girlfriends for lunch and ran into town to pick up some heart donuts from Dunkin for the girls and what I was seeing was blowing my photographic mind. I quickly got the donuts and headed home for my camera. The sun was out and was quickly melting the ice encased sparkling trees. You really had to see it to believe it. While the beauty was striking the damage was all over town. No tree was safe and limbs were everywhere. Temps rose and all the trees are now ice free. Let the clean up begin. We haven't seen blue skies for days....
I honestly know of what you speak; my trees were a dazzle of diamonds this morning as the sun rose. It was magically in its own way, despite my fear that major limbs are bound to be broken out of my trees. This is a fabulous image that captures the crystal glow of an ice storm.
