Strolling The Gardens by lesip

Strolling The Gardens

Another from Saturdays outings to the Smithsonian Castle. This is the Arts and Industrial Building which is the second oldest Smithsonian museum on the National Mall. It opened in 1881 and hosted the inaugural ball of President James A. Garfield.

I may head back there Thursday and see if full bloom is happening and check on the Tidal Basin. They expect full bloom there next week and with some 70 degree days coming this weekend I think they are right.
Really beautiful shot of the castle. Love your composition. I love DC in the spring!

Wow! What an experience! Garfield was a good man, I think, and his death so tragic.
