Wow, it's August already and time to start thinking what else do I want to do this summer? Well, order saddle shoes is off the list.I went to a Catholic school and saddle shoes were part of the uniform. I don't know why but I decided it would be nice to have a pair again. I guess at some point I'll need to go buy white shoe polish. LOL I'm thinking these may show up a lot in my project. They're pretty nostalgic and photographic. This is my little stone path off the porch to my small pond in the front yard.
I love how evocative this shot is. I went to public school but remember the criteria about having to have my saddle shoes clean. And yes, remember the white polish well (and how it would smear onto the dark parts!).
