Saw something similar and thought I'd give it a try. This is as far as I went. Sometimes the crap the kids leave behind comes in handy. LOL
Put my camera on the tripod hanging down so it was low to the ground and linked my camera to my phone with the nikon app. Let's you see and focus what the viewfinder on your camera sees and you hit the button on your phone to take the picture. What will they think of next?
This is amazing -- such a 'blast from the past' feel to it with a double take for the skateboard. I'm curious about the app you mentioned...does it work with any Nikon DSLR?
@taffy check out the Nikon website doesn't work for all cameras but sure it works with the new Z . They have apps for the iPhones and Android phones. Sony also has an app that works with your phone.
