My first eat in visit to a restaurant since they closed because of the pandemic. They opened at 11 and we were the first in. Masks and gloves for waitress and hostess. Tables closed for social distancing. Felt safe but what an odd feeling eating in.
Being able to celebrate my annual birthday lunch with great friends (although keeping the # small) priceless.... wonderful birthday lunch out. I loved the Sunflower cupcakes but was too full to eat mine and took it home.It will be my dinner 🤣 oh I didn’t blow the candle out !!!
we still couldn't do dine-ins here in toronto. i'm sick and tired of the food i've been eating so i started to order online. it's indeed an odd feeling. but i do miss eating out. although i have placed a set of cutlery (plastic and real ones) and straws in my purse because when we are finally able to go eat at a restaurant, i'm not using their cutlery and i'm drinking my drink with my straw. maybe i should bring my own napkin, too! 😊 belated happy birthday, my friend.
We went out on Father's Day and have been out one other time to dinner since. It was great to be out. Course, now I'm hungry for a bloomin onion and we don't have an Outback in town.
Happy birthday. We haven't tried dine-in and are sticking to take-out, curbside, and drive-thru. Those cupcakes look delicious as well as the blooming' onion.
