On this mother's day I started with a pic of a statue in a local park and though it represented all who have been lost in wars, it hit me as sons who had mothers who missed them. I then took a shot of a son taking a picture for his mom and it hit me with quite a sense of pride to see this bond on this day.....and then the little bunch of flowers that I could imagine a small boy presenting, pudgy, fist-filled to his mother as a token for her day.
