They're Not Strangers by lifepause

They're Not Strangers

Upon a city street corner
Early in the morn
They sat together talking
They are not forlorn

People walked right by
And greeted them with ease
An arm raised in greeting
Certainly they're pleased

These two, they are not strangers
To each other or to you
They'd be missed if by chance
They don't show, who knew?
Well captured and said, Jae! You don't know :)

Ok, I took this pic on Friday, on Monday I posted it with the attached poem, on Tuesday (today) I found out that the man in the pic died of hypothermia over the weekend. He is the brother of a friend that was reunited with him after decades this past summer. I showed her the pic after I heard the news saying, "this may be a long shot, but is this your brother?" "OMG, yes" was her reply. I told her I took it because they were so cheerful. He was happy. Totally amazing!
