My youngest brother who does not like to have his photo taken, I got this one of him though and I like it :)

Do you think the shadows on his cheek disturbs the shot? I couldn't really figure out how to remove them...

no, the shadows just show more depth in the lighting. But if you did want to get rid of the shadows ever, you could use a dodging tool...or even airbrush tool. Also, in photoshop, the clone tool might work.
