There is less than a month till we leave for Asia, everybody at work keeps mentioning it and then I keep thinking about it. I'm of course looking forward to it - it is what I want, but I also feel a bit of butterflies in my stomach... Regarding to work and the kids there (I work in a kindergarten) my feelings are really very ambiguous, most morning I'm not exactly longing to go to work and I don' love love that job, but my heart starts aching a bit when I think about 'my' kids! I don't wanna not see them every day anymore, whose little hand will be in mine all the time, whose super soft little forehead will I kiss all the time, who will I have funny conversations with all the time and who will give me a big toothy grin and a hug when I come back from my break????? Argh... I've gotten addicted to them!
I'm just nuts for that silly little camera of yours! Having all the childish charm that the Japanese know how to create, it seems a symbol of your Asian transition and the new children who'll surround you. What a marvelous opportunity! I understand the ambiguous feeling about leaving one home to start again elsewhere, but I suspect it won't be long before you send us wonderful photos and glowing reports!
