We did a sight-seeing day in Jakarta, this is from the harbour "Sunda Kelapa" a busy port filled with wooden ships in the process of beeing loaded by hand. This guy had a small sampan and took us for a little sail around the harbour and a small fishing village. I had a nice chat with him while we sailed and he told me about his family and so on. He was building a small bamboo-house on stilts, he hadn't had enough money to put a roof on it yet, so he sleept in the boat under the house instead.
