Martin turned 30 years old this Saturday! We had a great birthday weekend with dinner with friends on friday followed by a really fun (and whiskey-fuelled) night out at a nice bar. Saturday was gonna be just the two of us :)We slept in, had a nice breakfast, spent the day by the pool and then went out for an exquisite sushi dinner at night - so good! :)
A lot of people are like "oh wow 30! You are getting old etc." I just feel like if you are happy with your life, have achieved the things you want, are with the person you wanna be with etc. then you are right where you want to be, and you should be happy about that. Age is just a number; so many people take it way too seriously :)
I took this photo of him to remember him when he was exactly 30 years old, I also sent it to his mom so she could see her son being 30 even though she is so far away at the moment (or I guess we are the ones who are far away..)
Very nice portrait! The natural light and the plain background are perfect. I can assure you that one day you will look back and say that 30 was a young and beautiful age to have. And that will be the same for the day you turn 40 and 50 and.... :)
