We actually only got here on the 26th, but the days prior to this were spent indoor in Bangkok writing papers = no good photos! So I thought I'd throw in a few fillers (from the future) from Ko Tao instead :)
Getting to Koh Tao is a bit of a lengthy process, but so worth it. We got on the sleeper train in Bangkok at 19.30, had a nice meal of red curry on board and jumped into "bed", the cots in th train are pretty comfy, but you still don't sleep all that well. At 4.30 we arrived in Chumpon, we then waited at the train station untill 6.00 when we caught a pick-up to the pier where we boarded the boat (seen in the photo) for the 3 hours sail to Ko Tao. At around 10.00 we set foot on Koh Tao and instantly bought a freshly made pineapple and mango smoothie, we then rented a motorbike and drove to our intended beach and we were in the beautiful blue water before lunch :)
