The small village of Putak that we passed is located gorgeously in front of the famous Thorong La Pass, (can you see the dip in the mountains pretty much center in the photo? That is the pass) To walk the entire Annapurna Circuit you must also cross this pass that is 5,416 meters above sea level! We weren't going to do that and were quite happy to look at it from here :)
