We have brought the horses home :) It was a super long day yesterday! We were up at 5AM to pick up the big horse transporter (that Martin drove like a pro all day), then we drove and took the ferry all the way to Jutland to pick up the horses. First was Fjord (the one in this photo) he was very sweet and easy to load, it only took one and a half tries :) Then we were off to pick up Blomme. We had no idea how she was going behave when we tried to get her into the transporter, but I just led her up the ramp and then without as much as a sideways glance she just walked in! What a good horse :) Then we "only" had to drive all the way back home. On the way home we ran out of hay, which caused some bad behavior from Blomme who decided to start snapping at poor Fjord... Luckily we made it home just fine and the horses were super easy to unload and as soon as we released them into the paddock they started to graze and they looked like they already felt at home :)
My camera is still on Asia time - this photo was actually taken on the 11th
What a beauty of a photo! Your horses are gorgeous, and it answers my question that you seem ready to stay in Denmark awhile now. You have the best of all the world! You've seem some magnificent locations and returned to a gorgeous spot right here!
