In Aarhus there is an open air museum which consists of a lot of old house gathered from all over the country to form a very cozy village. Inside the houses are decorated like in the old days and in one of the kitchens people dressed up like they were from 1800something were cooking up dinner for the guests to taste. The horses along with several others were given people rides around the "town" :)
I not only love your photo (as you photograph horses so beautifully!) but I adore vintage villages like you describe! We went to one like that in Nova Scotia with two members of 365 in mid-September! @bill_fe@summerfield
