@lindapipp In further response to your question on the 5th of March photo of Chloe. If you look at the settings for this photo of Chloe, you will see that it uses a smaller number Aperture (AV) Aperture: f/5.6. This allows Chloe to be shown in detail and then the chair behind her to be a little softer and not as crisp. This is the Depth of field working. If the object behind Chloe (ie in this photo the chair) was further away from her, then the fading would be more significant and the Depth of field more obvious. I hope that helps you further.
