Buddha of the cornfield

A new installation in a nearby cornfield. The Midwest is much more eclectic than we get credit for.

Couldn't work out the scale - until I spotted the crow (?) sitting on the Buddha's head. Is it stone?

@mothermalarkey Carol, I believe it's stone. The area is fenced off with multiple 'no trespassing' signs so I couldn't get close enough to investigate properly.

@birdy it's a small world! I live near Regina HS :) Do you know anything about the Buddha statue? My internet searches yield nothing about who built it and why.
