Garden Spigot by lindasees

Garden Spigot

I have a plot in a community garden. We have this single central spigot for water, but we aren't allowed to hook up hoses. We have to hand carry each drop of water in buckets all the way to our plots. I didn't realize how many muscles are involved in carrying buckets, or how much they can hurt.
Excellent use of color contrast and white balance, DOF, and timing (the drop completes it). Definite fav.

Great image. Really like the water drop capture. Hope you don't have to carry the water too far. I am sure the end products make it worthwhile though.

Wish I could remember the title of a Japanese film we saw back in the late '60's. We always called it "The Bucket" movie. No dialogue, at least that I recall, and no plot in the traditional sense. Just this person walking down a long and steep hill to fill a bucket with water and return to her(?) modest house, only to repeat the process countless times.
