I listen to different music stations while getting ready for my day. Sometimes the 1960 songs make me happy for my youth and sometimes sad for what life is like today. This song by Peter Paul and Mary played this morning. And some fun facts: I saw them in concert (still the best concert ever) This was the first song I performed at my college. And a friend/coworker and I ran into Mary Travers at a New Orleans restaurant
Quote: And how many deaths will it take till he knows that too many people have died? The answer my friend, is blowin' in the wind. The answer is blowin' in the wind.
I used to love playing and singing this song on my guitar but I never agreed with it. The answer to me was always in the Bible- I thought and believed (still do) that if one follows the words contained in it, all questions of this song would be answered. Lovely cloud shot.
I also love this song, originally performed by Bob Dylan, "Blowin' in the wind". The French version by Richard Antony (Écoute dans le vent) is equally good.
A very poignant narrative.
