Time is a precious gift from God: so precious that it is only given to us moment by moment. (Amelia Barr) My friend's sister-in-law died unexpectedly on Sunday, leaving her husband and 4 adopted children, ages 2 to 13. This was the quote on my calendar this morning, the day of her visitation.

Oh, how sad, Lin. My dad also passed on that day - Jan 5, 1991. I hope they meet. He will make her laugh. Seriously, I am so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with the family she left behind. She was far too young. Your beautiful photo and quote say it all.

Beautiful picture but a sad story. Our neighbours lost their lovely daughter the week before Christmas. She was only 17. A sad time.
