I attended the annual 5K Run/Walk today in my home town and took full advance of candid captures before the race began.
Why is it called Mule Kick, you may ask? (I know I would, if I hadn't grown up here...) Well, it takes place on Mule Day weekend. Mule Day is a celebration that began in 1840, as a place for breeders to buy, sell and trade their mules. It now attracts more the 200,000 visitors and includes a parade, food, music, dancing and crafts...and, of course. mules. The race was the only thing I attended this year...maybe next year, I brave the crowd and post some mules for my 365ers!
I think guys actually kind of like getting up in women's costumes! The same thing happened this weekend in Salamanca for a different reason. Nice job on the collage! (I doubt that I'll do any on the trip-- I'm sure it's possible on the phone, and I just don't know how-- but I wish I could because it's really tough to pick jus gone picture a day!
@ladymagpie Thanks, Heather. I have friends who run the half marathons...it would take me several days to complete one! And if your son ever decides to don the tutu, remember that's a must capture moment!
