The black and white challenge is almost over and looking back, I've learned several things. (I'll post the technical lesson later in another album) This photo in color was just a nice photo of my Great Aunt's kitchen window, but the moment I converted it to black and white, it became about emotion. In an instant, I was transported back to drying the Christmas dishes, sitting under the Christmas tree, and going to the barn with my Great Uncle. I think I'll be editing more old photos to black and white, for the sweet memories.
