As many of you know, I've been sorting through my cousin's photos, papers and books. I had no idea how much she saved (I thought I was the paper obsessed one in the family!) Here is just a small sample of what I've been finding. This is so reminiscent of the things I found as I was going through my fathers house just a few short months ago. It is amazing to find all these treasures. I don't envy you the chore because it's a lot of stuff to go through but it will be so rewarding for you
@grammyn Yes, Katy. It's been a bit of a mess, but so interesting. Fortunately, I was not the relative who inherited the house, so what I'm having to go through is nothing compared to another cousin - he and his wife have spent months working on it!
Are you scanning these into your computer as you go? Time consuming but a nice way to be able to share the pictures with your family. I've made two books this way - now if I just knew who all the people were!
@milaniet I haven't gotten that far yet, but it's a great idea. I'm hoping to take some home to my mom to see if she knows who is in some of the really vintage photos. Thanks for stopping by!
