Crafty Weekend by linnypinny

Crafty Weekend

This isn't my work area - took this photo at a local ceramic studio. But I did lots of rock painting and hiding this weekend. Two of my rocks were on the 615Rocks! Facebook page - always nice to see who finds them. Hope you had a relaxing weekend, too.
That is really cool, Lin. We may try the rock painting and hiding thing.

How fun! I have a friend in south Texas who's granddaughter found three rocks today and they didn't know what they meant. So I guess even in America artists are painting rocks. This is so great, really!

I am so uncrafty that I always appreciate seeing hand-done things. This is especially charming. Our local news had a feature about the painted rocks. The number depends on your area code, so ours is 505 rocks.

@janeandcharlie I've never been able to paint, Jane, but that doesn't seem to be stopping me (LOL) Thank goodness for Sharpie pens because I wouldn't be able to paint any words - well, that were legible - without them! I really think I saw someone from 505Rocks post on the 615 site recently. It's especially cool when someone finds a rock from another state.
