Uh oh, saw this beautiful feather too. Then noticed the yard was full of feathers. Poor blue jay. Wonder what got him. Hubby said a hawk!? That's nature I suppose
Sad but probably true it was a hawk. I've seen them take birds around the feeders and it just looks like a feather explosion. Great color & detail...and he'll be memorialized forever in your picture at least! :)
