It snowed 3-4 inches here today, and I’m apparently the only one that’s not tired of it yet. (Okay, the kids get excited, but they’re just hoping for a day off school so it doesn’t count.) I came home and filled my bird feeder and almost immediately the little juncos arrived to feast. I suspect they were hiding in the spruce trees waiting for me. Anyway, they’re adorable little birds that migrate here from Canada so we only get to see them in the winter. Tells you how cold Canada must get if they think it’s warmer here in central Indiana.
The bird is on the right side of the feeder, and a little difficult to see.
Birds are difficult to capture in the winter, but I can see him. I'm hoping as well, but it'll probably be a two hour delay. I guess I need to be happy to get the early dismissal today. haha!
