Playing with Crayons

Tonight I tried a technique I was reading about where you use a slow shutter speed and zoom in or out as quickly as you can while you take the picture. I played around with a box of crayons and this was the result.

The picture I saw using this technique as of flowers and the very middle was in focus which I thought really added to the effect. I’m going to try this again when I can find a decent subject.

This is really cool- it's almost like one of those optical illusions where if you stare at it long enough something appears to be moving. I love the crayons!
