Since today is Fat Tuesday I was digging around in my jewelry box for the little babies that go inside King Cakes that I bought in New Orleans. I never found them, but I ran across these babies. Baby teeth, that is. I had forgotten I had kept all of them from the days when I moonlighted as the Tooth Fairy. I have no idea which ones belong to whom, but I don’t think they’ll be wanting them back anyway.
Oh my goodness, here all these years I though my Wife was the only one who did this. Years ago she bought these little containers shaped like a tooth, and she kept the teeth our kids lost through the years. She had them all separated. The funny thing about it is, one day our daughter mixed them all up, and initially it upset my Wife becasue she no longer knew who the teeth belonged to. Ha! Now we laugh about it.
Oh the irony. We are going to the dentist in the morning to have 4 teeth removed, and I was just wondering...what will the tooth fairy leave for FOUR teeth???
Ha my Mom did that and I remembered thinking how gross it was to see them all. And a little disappointed that they weren't with the tooth fairy ;-) We are just getting the teeth in, but i am sure I will be saving theones that come out too! Facebook friends don't all understand how we think everything could be a good photo...good job being creative!
@lrappa@swrws Thanks. I have no idea why I saved them. I’d just drop them in the bottom drawer of my jewelry box and forget about them. Apparently I did that a lot!
@wjw1741 I like the idea of putting them in the king cake! I can’t believe how many negative reactions I’ve gotten on this picture. Thanks for reaffirming I’m not completely crazy!
